Bullet Journaling

Bullet Journaling

So bullet journaling...what is it? I can confirm that it isn't a high stakes, live or death form of journaling.

The system was created by Ryder Caroll and it is a essentially a DIY diary - you get to decide what the content will look like based on your organisational needs. Which means that it can be anything from your regular diary, to a note pad, to a fitness tracker, to a place to put down your latest musings.

What attracted me to bullet journaling was the opportunity to take notice of and hold myself accountable to my own life. I felt like I was stuck in a loop, where I did the same thing everyday and I wanted to start making progress. So, I stumbled upon bullet journaling when I was on a Youtube escapade (you know, those ones where you start out by watching an interview of your favourite musician and somehow find yourself on the other side of Youtube, where productive people live) and I was immediately intrigued by the creativity that it involved and also that I could change it as my needs changed.

Long story short, I have fallen in love with the system and I am so excited to share it with you as I begin year 2 of my journey. I have decided that theme for this year will be Gumption. If there's one word I would love to be described with, it's "gumption". I'm ready to be audacious & courageous in the pursuit of my dreams.

Here's a quick video of my 2018 set up. Enjoy!
